Human Resource Management

The Department of Human Resource Management was established in 2007. It has 4 professors (all Ph.D. advisors), 2 associate professors, and 1 lecturer. The specialty is vested in the doctoral program and doctoral station of the first-class discipline of business administration and has been an integral part of the national key discipline of enterprise management. The department offers a bachelor program in business administration (with the direction of human resource management), a master program and a doctoral program in enterprise management and human resource management. The Human Resource Management Association of Jiangsu Province and the Research Institute of Human Resource Management Strategy of Nanjing University are affiliated to the department.

In the past five years, its faculty members have published 18 works, 5 textbooks, and over 110 papers in domestic and foreign leading journals, presided and participated in over 10 international and national projects and over 10 provincial research projects, and obtained 3 national prizes and 12 provincial or ministerial prizes. Entrusted by governments and enterprises, the department has provided various consulting services to help enhance their decision-making and management levels.

The department aims to train advanced professionals in human resource management who have an international view, a solid theoretical foundation, and strong adaptive ability.
