The Department of Accounting of School of Business at Nanjing University is planning to fill up to 3-4 faculty positions in the coming year, to further advance the current group of about 20 full-time faculty members hired in the last several years from renowned universities and build up a top team in China. Compensation package includes salary starting from RMB 350,000, and a start up package of RMB 290,000, including research funds, housing allowancees and relocation benefits. Additional compensation is available for extra achievements. For example, the maximum additional pay for assistant professor could be RMB 230,000. For senior positions, we offer highly competitive compensation. Appointees are expected to engage in active research and teaching and must possess a Ph.D. in accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline or expect to complete the requirement by July 2013. A prior consideration will be given to accounting and finance disciplines. Candidates with great potential or well-established credentials will be considered.
